Sometimes you run across a fellow paper crafter that has a sense of style that immediately hooks you in. They just have that "wow" factor that makes you come back for more. Anabelle O'Malley is just that sort of someone. With every single one of her projects, you feel as though you have to look carefully at every single detail just to be able to absorb all the small finishing touches she adds to everything. Definitely one of a small handful of paper crafters that I admire greatly.
With piles of publication achievements under her belt along with many other professional milestones crossed, we can ALL look forward to learning many things from Anabelle over the next few months as she joins us as our Distinguished Guest Designer.
Here's what Anabelle had to say about herself...
Hi! I'm Anabelle O'Malley! I live in Delaware with my husband and our six year old son, Ryan who is generally the subject of my scrapbook pages.
I’ve been papercrafting for the past five years and have loved every minute of it. It truly is my creative outlet.
As a child, I would
spend hours drawing and making cards for people, so this is just a natural
extension of my love for all things paper. Along with creating layouts, I still
love card making and trying out new techniques. All of my creations contain
lots of texture and details. I love all things vintage, shabby, soft and
glittery.
When I’m not in my scraproom I can be found relaxing with my family, cooking, reading or occasionally, hitting the gym. I hate housework, so every once in a while I have to force myself to do that, too!
I have enjoyed meeting many fellow scrappers and cardmakers online. I gain so much inspiration by checking out my favorite galleries!
I was lucky to have
been a Memory Makers Master for 2009 and have had numerous pages published with
them. My work has also been in Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbooks Etc., Scrapbook and
Cards Today, Cards, Paper Crafts and other idea books.
I hope you are looking forward to Anabelle joining our team as much as I am! Her style & flair paired with all things Papertrey ought to prove to be an beautiful friendship!
