Another fabulous round of Guest Star Stamper has now come to a close! It seems to get more challenging each month to narrow down the winners of each category! Below I have highlighted each of the winners along with three honorable mentions that I thought deserved a shout out!
Justine Fredrick created this bright & cheerful card using the new Cupcake Collection. I've always been fond of turquoise, pink & yellow together. Almost like printed paper sunshine! Of course all that sparkle & shine she added with the glitter helps to add to the brightness too! I loved that she used the patterned paper for the cupcake cups. Looks very *boutique*. Great job, Justine!
Cherisse created a beautiful and bright trio of cupcake cards, each with a different stamped background. I loved the way she took the time to make each cupcake special and unique!
Pocketful of Paper did some beautiful embossing for the background of her cupcake card. I loved the little border strip she created and the pretty stitching & bow with embroidery floss!
Sarah created an amazing cupcake gift card folder from ribbon & paper and paired it with a pretty card. I loved the simple design of her card and the border she drew by hand to connect everything.
I loved the way that joi2 (Donna) combined Vintage Picnic with Out on a Limb. The colors she chose for the leaves really complimented her autumnal theme. She used our Bitty Box Basics paper to paper piece the pumpkins int he basket, which I thought was a really great detail. The way she grounded everything with the simple strip of ribbon was a fantastic touch as well. I just loved it!
Snowmom13 used lots of gingham to develop a project that had more of a country feel. The scattered buttons and soft watercoloring made for a really simple yet striking piece that anyone would love to receive.
Beth (babies) opted to not use one of the "filler" images and instead filled her basket with paper flowers & ribbon leaves. I think the color scheme is fresh and fun too, spring moss & scarlet jewel.
Maureen (Malgirl65) went patriotic with her color scheme and theme. She created some background paper with Star Prints, which complimented the other stars in the project perfectly.
Vanessa Menhorn designed this pure-white beauty using Beautiful Blooms. I love the circle shape and frame-like opening exposing the embossing detail. I love the way she used three different sizes of pearls at the center of each flower, giving it a more artistic flair. Totally worthy of permanent display on anyone's mantel!
Kelley Eubanks (keuby) made a fabulously simple yet stunning card using buttons and the open circle images from Polka Dot Basics. Paired up with a sentiment from Handwritten Notes, I know I plan on making a whole batch of these to keep in my personal stash!
Anya Schrier created this stunning shadow box using Honey Bees and a few critters from Forest Friends. The detail and time she put into assembling & arranging the flowers along the bottom was well worth her while because the outcome is just amazing!
Chrissy Lux used a golden oldie, Garden of Life, to create this pretty vintage-style card. She also used Background Basics: Text Style in the background to give it a bit more depth. I love the way the single flower is on top of all the layers to create a focal point.
Mona Pendleton paired Pack a Picnic & images from Beautiful Blooms to create this gorgeous gift basket. I loved the color combination, very light, airy & soothing. The heat embossing she did with the floral images on the background really made them pop. The large tag emphasized her theme and really brought everything together. Lisa Jurecek made her version of Let's Do Lunch into a Crafter's Toolbox, full of lots of goodies that can be toted around or stored with style.
Tracey Cuccia used From the Desk Of to create compact button storage for herself. Our square Trendy Tubes fit perfectly in the template, allowing her to store eight colors in one template.
Terri Moore created this fun watermelon notecard set and basket using Pack a Picnic. I thought it was great the way she used the shape of the basket to her advantage and turn it into a slice of watermelon. The color scheme is fun & bright as well.
*sigh* So much inspiration, so little time!
