Another round of Guest Star Stamper has now concluded! The decision was really difficult, but I was able to narrow it down to one winner in each category!
Janette Olen won for Best Birthday Project. Her birthday card immediately caught my eye. I loved the patterned paper she created for her background panels. She also curved some of the sentiments from Birthday Basics to outline the cupcake focal image. I think everything came together harmoniously for Janette. You need to try this project our for yourself!
Bridget Dickinson created a set of stacking boxes which won her Best Use of Patterned Paper. After seeing her project I was imaging all of the wonderful things you could do to decorate a project like this! These are small enough to be used as a party favor. You could make an even bigger version to be used as a centerpiece of a shower!
Heather Mahoney designed the project that won Best Wedding Project. I just fell in love with her simple wedding card. I know I will be making one of these the next time I have a wedding to go to! I really liked the way she created the frame with the dotted swirls image. The color palette is really sophisticated as well.
As always, there were several other projects that caught my eye that I felt were worthy of honorable mention. Here they are, in no particular order!
BEST USE OF PATTERNED PAPER
Maria Fiscella created this really pretty wreath by cutting bits & pieces from the floral paper. I also like the detail she added by adhering a strip of the paper along the center of the ribbon. It helps to create a lot of visual balance on the project.

Cindy Holshouser combined several Pink Patterns and Sweet Love to make a simple, beautiful card. I love the layout and simplicity of it.
..........................................................................................
Julie-Ann Wells pieced together several patterns and accented them with this fabulous scrunched ribbon technique for a border. I love the texture that her detail added to this project.
..........................................................................................
Terri Moore made a quilt with bits and pieces of the Pink Patterns Collection. Her faux stitching was just the finishing touch!
Niki Estes designed these adorable little favor boxes that look like cakes!
Complete with Liquid Applique trim! These would be so cute next to
each place at a party table!

BEST BIRTHDAY PROJECT
Julia Aston recreated the shape of the stars from It's a Celebration with her Nestabilities and made it the focal point of her card. I also like the way she turned the pennant flag string on it's side to accent the star. Such a fun project!
................................................................................................
Kimberly Crawford
cleverly made a Birthday in a Box tin. When the lid is removed from
the tin, the recipient is surprised by a colorful accordion card
inside. Children especially love to open something like this!
.............................................................................................
Julie Masse saw ice
cream cones when she flipped the party hats upside down from It's a
Celebration. She also discovered that the cupcake tops made perfect
scoops to top them with. I just loved the detail of adding crystal
effect to her cherries. It makes them look so realistic!
........................................................................................
AmyStamper decided to create a project that celebrated our nation's birthday, rather than a specific person. I really like how well our It's a Celebration set complimented her patriotic theme. Her concepts could definitely be carried over for invitations too!
..............................................................................................
Dee Woodland made this super cute cupcake card. She made it appear as though the cupcake was being eaten along the way, complete with adorable pink crumbs to either side!
.......................................................................................
Alisha Trussell created her own patterned paper with the pennant flags from It's a Celebration. I thought it created a really unique look that could be used for either gender, depending on the colors used.
.............................................................................................
Sandy Kay made this fun little pocket card that has a unique pull out. This type of interactive project could be used for so many other applications.
..............................................................................................
Jennifer Buck cleverly discovered that mini pompoms can be the perfect accent to the party hats in It's a Celebration. They look so perfect with the hat. And with all the colors you can get pompoms in, the possibilities are truly endless!

BEST WEDDING PROJECT
Elizebeth Neumann made this really unique packaged note card set for a new couple. I love how she integrated Favor It Weddings for a card project. She developed a beautiful color scheme to compliment her project as well.
..........................................................................................
Sara Henton put together an elegant, easy to mass product monogram card that would be PERFECT for creating gift sets for a bride & groom. My favorite detail is the way she added scored lines above and below the ribbon strip as a special detail.
....................................................................................
Mary Kloeckener stepped outside the box when she created these scalloped flowers on her wedding project. I thought it was really appropriate for the theme to use scalloped hearts folded in half as the leaves for her flowers.
.....................................................................................
Jeanne Kuhlman created a unique wedding card by using the theme "Shining Moments" which is one of the sentiments included in our Favor It Weddings set. I love the color scheme that she chose. The small bits of bling in the centers of the stars really set it off.
.................................................................................................
Charmaine Ikach made this really clever Bride's Box. Inside there is a card for each month, allowing a bride to keep track of what she needs to do each month in preparation for her wedding. This would be such a cute gift to give to a girlfriend who is newly engaged!
ALL of the entries were amazing this month! I encourage you to give it a go and enter the contest this month! You can read all about what we are looking for HERE! I look forward to seeing your entries!!!
