I thought I would do a formal introduction of the April colors today! I present Summer Sunrise & Lemon Tart!
Summer Sunrise is a golden yellow-orange color. It has just a few undertones of tangerine to it too. I love the way it can be paired with many of our other colors and take on different looks. For example, when combined with lemon tart it has a softer appearance. But when used with Aqua Mist it become much more prominent & bright.
Lemon Tart is a beautiful soft buttercream yellow. I have been wanting a yellow like this for a long time. It is a little more "yellow" than a lot of the pastel yellows out there. This color in Palette ink is vibrant enough that you could even use it for a sentiment.
Here is a comparison chart to SU! colors. (you can click on it to enlarge.) Papertrey's Summer Sunrise falls right in between Summer Sun & Marigold Morning. Summer Sunrise is a lot more orange than Summer Sun, but not as deep in color as Marigold Morning. (Although it was difficult to capture the differences here.) Papertrey's Lemon Tart has a lot more yellow in it than Barely Banana, but obviously isn't nearly as bright as Yoyo Yellow.
