I run the design team for Papertrey Ink a little differently than other companies.
We do not accept submissions or run an open call.
Rather, the entire year I conduct what I like to call my open casting call, with the wide open space of the internet as the stage. Searching for the perfect person to extend an invitation to.
I like to hop from blog to blog and see new faces paired with a fresh point of view. I really enjoy going through the hundreds of submissions we receive each month through our Guest Star Stamper Contest and seeing new artists take a chance and give it their all. Perusing through our Customer Gallery always opens my eyes to whole new perspective with the very images that I designed.
I am often asked, what it takes. A list of characteristics comes to mind...
Unique, fresh, independent, warm, kind, positive, passionate, true and real
All of the ladies I am about to announce to you embody all of these things and I am honored to have them as part of the Papertrey family.
Everyone who knows me is familiar with my compassion for not only paper & ink, but people, especially family. I think of each and every one of these women as an extension of myself as a business women, an artist and friend. We openly exchange ideas & thoughts, all for one purpose. To benefit the loyal customers of Papertrey. I know you will love getting to know these women as much as I have. Please be sure to stop by each of their blogs today and give them a warm welcome to their new home!
Genevieve first caught my attention with a submission she made to Guest Star Stamper. She truly has her own style that is all her own and I find it quite inspiring. She expresses her unique point-of-view with color and combinations that are a refreshing break from the norm. She is an extremely warm person and a pleasure to speak with. I know you will love finding ways to utilize her ideas in your own projects.

This is Jennifer's all-time favorite Papertrey project that she created with Spiral Bouquet and the coordinating digital kit.

1. How would you describe your stamping style? - Eclectic! (That word covers a multitude of sins, right?) I love vintage at times, and I love clean an simple at times. I also confess that I've always been amazed by the pieces that Nichole comes up with and I consider it a true privilege to get to play a tiny part in this venture.
