I just love how quick and easy this project comes together. This simple little tin (8oz. round clear top) holds hot chocolate mix, light & fluffy marshmallows and a miniature candy cane. Snowflake Serenade helped to create the perfect patterned paper and focal point for the lid.
I created a FREE download with labels sized perfectly for use with the Mega Scalloped Circle Punch, making this project a breeze! You can download this FREE file HERE .
#2: Window Treat Bags (courtesy of Taylor & Heather)
I think everyone has a "specialty treat" that they are famous for. Whether it be homemade fudge, chewy cookies or crisp popcorn balls, there are so many yummy things to offer this holiday season. If you are looking for a creative way to package your special recipe, our Large Window Coffee Bags are the PERFECT solution! In addition, the popular Holiday Treats stamp set will give your gift a professional flair!
Taylor came up with this beautiful design. Her tradition is to make chocolate dipped pretzels, and share them with the special people in her life! I love how she stamped the snowflakes to cover the bag front. It illustrates how easy it is to stamp on these bags since they have no coating, leaving you the option to use whatever ink you prefer.
Heather made this pretty version. I love how she utilized hemp to tie the tag to the front of the bag. It really helps to carry the vintage homespun feel she was going for. She put homemade chocolate chip cookies in her bag, which works well with these particular bags because they are lined with wax paper, so any grease from the items they contain will not leak through to the outside. That way they will be sure to look perfect one they arrive at their final destination!
#3: Christmas Paint Can Votive Luminary
Debbie made this BEAUTIFUL votive container using our small clear paint cans. She used our Beautiful Blooms stamp set to create pretty poinsettias to embellish vellum which attached to the can. The vellum creates such a wonderful warm glow, perfect for the holiday season. You could even use colors that would compliment the recipients decor. Perhaps adding a small box of matched wrapped in matching stamped paper and tied with pretty ribbon would be a nice added touch as well! (Note of caution: Be sure to contain the actual votive in a tall glass votive holder within the paint can for safety)
#4: Gift Card Tin & Stationery
Some people on our Christmas list are difficult to purchase for, and a Gift Card to their favorite store is the perfect solution. The dilemma always arises of how to package it? Taylor found the perfect solution with our large hinged tins, which are similar in size and shape to the classic Altoid Tins. She simply added some stamped paper & ribbon to customize the tin. To save time you could use designer paper of your choice.
While your at it, why not create some customized stationery too? To make it quick & easy you can utilize our stationery kit (with everything you need pre-cut!) along with one of our Clearly Creative Card Boxes to package it with class!
The paint cans can also serve as creative gift wrap to help unify several small gifts in sophisticated style, instead of using a basket or bag. Here, Amy added some of her favorite designer paper to cover the main body of the paint can. She then added a handstamped label that uses some of the colors found in the paper. With packaging like this you could include things like a good-quality coffee mug, sample sized gourmet coffee, elegant cookies or chocolate and even a special note letting the person know how appreciate they are.
By turning one of our square tins on it's side, you can create the perfect packaging for small scalloped edge gift card! The version shown here uses Take a Bough and coordinating page pebbles. But if you wanted to create something with year round purposes, one of our other sets like Green Thumb would work beautifully. The small scale of these cards makes them great for gift enclosures of quick notes. The recipient would most likely love the pretty storage more than the actual cards!
I just ADORE using photos to personalize a gift for someone special. They become something they can treasure forever. This quick project is a small accordion album created with scalloped punches or dies. It is all housed in our 2.5 oz. round clear top tin, which allows the project to be added to the Christmas tree, year after year. It is the perfect way to keep Christmases past on display or keep loved ones that are not near involved with holiday festivities!
#8: Tin w/ Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix
I am VERY passionate about homemade hot chocolate! I love it so much, I drink it year-round! I love to be able to share my favorite recipe with friends and family, and our tea tins provide the perfect presentation. They feature an airtight lid so that you can place the mixture directly inside, just like the professionals! You can go HERE to see a copy of my favorite recipe!
#9: Photo Ornament w/ Clear Frame
Our clear frames provide the perfect solution for the person "who has it all". Whip up a few of these quick & easy ornaments. You can place a photo in the center or a meaningful quote or poem that you print from the computer. You could even string several together to form a garland for a mantel, with each frame holding an individual letter to spell something festive, like "joy" or "noel"! These frames are available in polka dot, harlequin & snowflake patterns!!!
If all else fails, Amy has the PERFECT quick & easy gift solution! TAGS! Whip up a batch of these, or something of your own design in no time flat. You can then use them to add to batches of homemade (or store bought!!!) goodies.
