Another Guest Star Stamper contest has officially ended, and boy did we get some amazing entries! I want to congratulate the winners of this month's contest!
Lexi Daly created the CUTEST tree with our Take a Bough branch. I love the tall vertical card orientation along paired with the festive red & green colors she chose. She incorporated the ornaments along with bows onto the tree and had a nice balance of "just" enough without going over the top. You should check out her blog for Halloween and Easter trees that she did as well using this set! Just gorgeous! I am SO excited to feture Lexi as a winner this go around because she has had Honorable Mention several times. She is so talented and we are honored to feature her in our gallery!
Carolyn King used both the tree & Santa images from our Believe set to create a STUNNING masterpiece. I really appreciate her coloring abiltiy. Everything has such wonderful shading and highlights! (Can you come over sometime and give me a few pointers, Carolyn?!?!) I loved the way the oval window helped to balance out the card and keep the focus on Santa and making sure that the trees didn't steal the show. If you haven't already, I urge you to take a peek at Carolyn's gallery. She has some amazing work that will surely inspire you!
And last but not least is Becky Oehler's super cool CD tin created with Holiday Treats. The black & white color scheme was fresh & fun compared to all the traditional Christmas colored projects we received using this set. If you take a look at her blog for additional photos of the project, you can see that she cleverly oriented the circle opening of the "Homemade" label over the central hole of the CD. Just genius! Pure genius I tell you! I think Becky may get the award for bing the most enthusastic winner we have ever had as well!!! Congratulations, Becky
As I say EVERY month, we received hundreds of phenomenal projects, and it is always difficult to pick a winner! I will be posting this month's Honorable Mentions this afternoon!!! Be prepared to beome inspired!
