The Details:
Stitched Alphabet will be available for purchase on May 15th.
It will retail for $15.
Stitched Alphabet contains a total of 48 images. Each individual letter averages between 3/8" to 1/2" wide and 1/2" tall.
Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first project I couldn't wait to pair up the new Stitched Alphabet with Dawn's gorgeous flowers. I stamped the background on Vintage Cream cardstock using various images from Ruby Rose using one of my favorite color combos... Spring Moss, Aqua Mist, Melon Berry, Summer Sunrise & Harvest Gold.
I die-cut the In Stitches die from Vintage Cream cardstock as well. The embroidery hoop portion was stamped with the coordinating images from Stitched Sentiments using Classic Kraft & Charcoal Palette. For the inner circle I added the word baby using Stitched Alphabet utilizing the same colors that were used in the background. I love how the separate letters in the new alphabet set allow me to incorporate multiple colors like this.
After stamping the background, I impressed it with the Aida Impression Plate. This helps tie in the theme with the embroidery hoop and stitched letters.
Everything was mounted onto a Aqua Mist card base.
For my next project I wanted to do lots of layering with the Ruby Rose dies & images.
I die-cut the Fabulous Frames from Classic Kraft cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating image in Fresh Snow. I die-cut several flowers from white cardstock and stamped them with the coordinating images using Scarlet Jewel, Autumn Rose & Sweet Blush inks.
I added the banner accent from Fabulous frames underneath the frame in Autumn Rose. The sentiment was added in Dark Chocolate.
It was finished off with a Sweet Blush card base.
You know a stamp set is designed flawlessly down to the last detail when you can create a black & white background that stands out from the crowd.
I stamped several of the elements from Ruby Rose onto white cardstock using True Black ink.
Red embroidery floss was used to form a border. Five strands were strung across, with the ends tucked around to the back on either side of the card front.
And I can't fail to mention the gorgeous sentiments included in Ruby Rose. They add a wonderful finishing detail to your projects!

Vintage bicycles -- and new bicycles designed to look old! -- are all the rage! With their leather seats, their charming wicker baskets and happy little bells to ring as you pass by, what could be sweeter? You'll love how we've brought this iconic image to life.....take a peek and see for yourself!
Pedal Pusher is an amazing new bicycle set that offers endless possibilities and customization! It was an absolute joy to be able to illustrate Erin Lincoln's vision! The bicycle can be stamped in two ways. You can 2-step stamp with the bicycle wheels as a set, followed by the top portion of the bicycle. Or, with the coordinating dies, you can stamp each wheel individually on separate die-cuts and attach them behind the top portion with brads to create wheels that spin. The basket can be filled with a variety of different items included in this set, and you can also have fun experimenting with other images from previously released sets. With all of the options here, you can create a card for just about any occasion!
The Details:

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
The wonderful thing about Pedal Pusher is that you can create a bicycle using multiple die-cut layers for the interactive feature, or you can go the simple route and add the components to a single layer die-cut. For my first project I opted to create a single layer bicycle.
I stamped the top half of the bike in Enchanted evening and the bottom half in Charcoal Palette ink. The basket was added with Dark Chocolate, then the apples with Pure Poppy and Ripe Avocado.
For the Smokey Shadow border strip at the bottom, I added a stamped alphabet border from Teach & Inspire using Fresh Snow ink. I decided to incorporate Betsy Veldman's chalkboard technique to go along with the teacher theme. A bit towards the bottom of the strip, I heat embossed the sentiment with White Filigree Embossing Powder, followed by a second impression in Fresh Snow ink that was smudges with my fingertip.
For the background I added Blueberry Sky Bitty Dot paper and then mounted everything to a Pure Poppy card base.
For my second project, I thought I would give you a closer look at how you can easily create real spinning wheels for your bicycle using the other multiple die option.
Here are the die-cut wheels along with the bicycle topper. You can see that the dies cut perfectly placed holes for you so you can attach the wheels behind the bike base with brads.
The bicycle topper & the flowers were stamped in Winter Wisteria and the wheels & basket were each stamped in Classic Kraft. The leaf layer for the flowers uses Simply Chartreuse. I added a few dabs of Liquid Pearls for the flower centers.
Here is a closeup of the wheels attached with the brads. You can see how incredible the detail is, so realistic!
The sentiment, also from Pedal Pusher, was added in Dark Chocolate ink to a strip of Simply Chartreuse cardstock. For the background, I stamped the houses and small tree from Boards & Beams using Fresh Snow ink. A strip of Winter Wisteria striped paper accents the bottom and helps to ground everything.
Now that you have seen a few of my creations, here are some of the amazing things that the team has created!
I hope you have enjoyed all these amazing creations that both the team and I have shared with you today! We hope you've enjoyed today's plethora of Pedal Pusher projects!! Are you excited about all of the design options offered within this set? What about the interactive elements with the bicycle tires? We would love to hear your initial thoughts on everything we introduced! Please leave a comment on this post to tell us what you think of the new products and you will be eligible to win big!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
I've been having a lot of fun with Perfect Pearls lately and decided to pair it up with these celestial sets. I started with some Royal Velvet cardstock and heavily sponged one end of it with Enchanted Evening ink. Then I stamped several different constellations from Star Gazer all over using Royal Velvet ink as well.
I stamped the star chart from Star Gazer Additions in VersaMark and brushed it with gold Perfect Pearls. I love how this brings out all the detail in the chart.
This beautiful sentiment was also added in the same manner. I die-cut several star buttons from Sapphire Shimmer cardstock and stitched them in place with silver thread.
After the details were completed, I mounted the entire card front onto a Winter Wisteria card base.
This simple design can be adapted to any of the constellations included in Star Gazer! Not to mention you can also mix up the color schemes.
At the bottom of the Vintage Cream card from, I stamped strokes from Watercolor Wonder using Hawaiian Shores & New Leaf inks. I then heat embossed the zodiac title with Silver Filigree Embossing Powder.
I die-cut Sea Shimmer cardstock with the 2-1/2" Limitless Layers circle die and then stamped it with the vintage star chart using Hawaiian Shores ink. The constellation was then heat embossed on top of this with Silver Filigree Embossing Powder. Everything was adhered a New Leaf card base. As a finishing touch I wrapped some silver floss around a few times and knotted it.
My last card is a unique way to show someone how much you love them. With this beautifully eloquent sentiment, you can pair together your sign with that of your loved one.
To begin, I thought I would experiment with watercoloring a background on the new Cream Shimmer cardstock. OH MY! Let me just say that the results are gorgeous! These photos don't even do it justice. I watercolored with ink refills in Summer Sunrise, Melon Berry, Orange Zest, and Canyon Clay.
I stamped both of the constellations in Dark Chocolate. Then I die-cut some small stars using the the new star Gazer die and Sun Shimmer cardstock. I adhered the stars in place and then added a drop of gold Liquid Pearls to each one for added dimension.
I embossed this beautiful sentiment with Gold Filigree Embossing Powder. I stamped several smaller stars all around the card front using Canyon Clay ink.
Now that you have seen a few of my creations, here are some of the amazing things that the team has created!

Just so that you have a visual reference, here is a comparison of the new Big Ticket Basics die, the previously released Just the Ticket die and Fillable Frames #1.
Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first project I thought I would create some ice cream scoops using the largest circle from Sketched Shapes in conjunction with the cone from Sweet As Can Be. I thought this would be the perfect companion for a festive looking ticket.
I stamped the cone first in Classic Kraft and followed up with a stack of sketched circles in a rainbow of colors. I brushed water over each of them with a watercolor brush. After allowing them to dry, I used a 2-way glue pen to add Prisma Glitter to each of the "scoops".
I die-cut a ticket from Classic Kraft cardstock using the new Big Ticket Basics die. I stamped the main image with VersaMark and heat embossed it with White Filigree Embossing Powder. I stamped a few of the other elements in color onto scrap paper and cut them out, layering them on top of the original images. I also die-cut a couple tiny stars from Aqua Mist cardstock using the Super Stars border.
All of this was mounted onto an Aqua Mist card base.
(click the above image for a larger view)
The new Big Ticket Basics stamp set and die are perfect for layouts and other scrappy projects. Let me show you how I used them here.
These ticket designs offer all kinds of layering options. You can see here how I was able to incorporate all three of my colors into each ticket.
I created to patterned strips to highlight y photo. The Melon Berry strip was stamped with the large circle from Sketched Shapes in Vintage Cream ink. The Harvest Gold strip was stamped with the banner strip from the same set at an angle to look like diagonal stripes.
I added several butterflies to this layout using Beautiful Butterflies.
I stamped them with Vintage Cream ink and brushed on Perfect Pearls in two different shades. I love how these colors echo the Harvest Gold & Melon Berry shades used in the rest of the layout.
The background for the layout was created with a sheet of Classic Kraft cardstock.
My last project today is just a quick and easy little card that would be perfect to send as a little pick-me-up.
I die-cut this frame using the Fabulous Frames die and stamped it with the coordinating image in Enchanted Evening ink. I adhered it at an angle onto my white card base. I then stamped the outline for the car from Enjoy the Ride in True Black. I added the solid filler layer in Simply Chartreuse. As a finishing touch, I used rhinestones on the headlights.
I die-cut the ticket from Simply Chartreuse cardstock and stamped the coordinating image in Enchanted Evening ink. I added the script "You" in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with White Filigree Embossing Powder. A strip of True Black cardstock was added to help balance out the layout of this card.
Now that you have seen a few of my creations, here are some of the amazing things that the team has created!
I hope you have enjoyed all these amazing creations that both the team and I have shared with you today! We had so much fun creating with the Big Ticket Basics products!! Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
I noticed a fun new trend recently and I was anxious to try it myself with today's products. "Birthday In a Box" is a fun thing to do for loved ones and friends who you may have a long distance relationship with or who will be away from home for their big day. It would also be great for a co-worker to have a "mini party" at her desk. You can also think college students, deployed soldiers, etc. This kind of birthday package contains everything the recipient needs to feel festive and remembered on such a momentous occasion. After it all, it only comes once a year!
To start things off, I began by designing my card, which I would later pull color and details from to create the various elements of the "Birthday In a Box." I die-cut the Fabulous Frames from Aqua Mist cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating frame image in Hawaiian Shores. This fabulous sentiment from Birthday Style was added at the bottom in True Black.
The balloons were die cut from white cardstock and stamped with their coordinating images from Birthday Style using New Leaf and Limeade Ice inks. I backed the frame with Clear Cardstock. I then stamped a white block of cardstock with the AMAZING decorative streamer borders, also from Birthday Style. The block was adhered to the back of the frame with thin strips of foam tape, filling between the two with some silver star sequins.
When you give it a little shake, it looks like this! I've always loved shaker boxes and how fun they can be to make, not to mention fun for the recipient to play with too!
There is a fabulous confetti image in Birthday Style which I used in the lower left and upper right corners of the card cover. I stamped the confetti in Hawaiian Shores, New Leaf and Limeade Ice. I added a bit of glitter to a few of the areas with a 2-way glue pen. I also adhered a few silver star sequins. Silver floss was attached to each balloon and tied the ends off to a small hole punched through the edge of the card cover. I love the "frayed" edge of the metallic floss; I think it looks really festive!
I just love the way this card turned out and I am looking forward to recreating it in other color combos!
Now for the box! I started with one of our window nugget tins as the base for this part of the project. For the front tag I die-cut a Fabulous Frames shape from Aqua Mist cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating image using Hawaiian Shores ink. I backed it with white cardstock which had been stamped with images from To You From Me. The accent border is stamped in New Leaf and the to/from in True Black.
I die-cut the Get a Handle On It basic shape from Limeade Ice cardstock and adhered it to the hinged edge of the tin with Scor-tape. One of the things I like about this particular application for the handles is that the tin can still open and shut freely with the handles in place.
I thought about all of the different things I could include that would make this "Birthday in a Box" recipient feel extra special!
"Happy Birthday" flags for them to wave for a Facebook photo op perhaps!
A confetti toss while blowing out their candles is the perfect way to continue the celebration. The small star food picks can be used to decorate a cupcake or even to eat a birthday snack.
A mini paper crown, so they feel like royalty.
A mini "Celebrate" banner they can hang at their desk or any other space they will be spending most of their day!
And last but not least, a pin for them to wear all day so everyone knows it's their birthday!
All of these items (other than the card) tuck neatly into the altered tin. Nice and compact and easy to ship! This was one of my favorite projects to put together and I am really looking forward to seeing what the recipient thinks of all of it! Do you have someone in your life that would be a good candidate for a "Birthday in a Box"?
For just a little something, I wanted to show how you can go the quick and easy route with the new Get a Handle On It dies as well. I simply got a bag of gourmet coffee and used the dies and just a few bits of cardstock to create a topper that is adhered directly to the bag.
I die-cut the handles from Dark Chocolate cardstock and stamped them with Background Basics: Super Stripes using Dark Chocolate ink. For the notched banner portion of the Get a Handle die collection, I used Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped it with this banner image from To You From Me stamp set using Pure Poppy ink. To/From from the same set was added in True Black ink.
For the main tag, I die-cut Vintage Cream cardstock with 1-3/4" Limitless Layers die and stamped it with the coordinating frame from To You From Me in Summer Sunrise ink. I added the sentiment from Stylish Sentiments: Birthday in Dark Chocolate. The cup & saucer image from Everyday Treats was added last in Pure Poppy. This was all matted with a piece of Pure Poppy cardstock cut with one of the decorative layers from the same Limitless Layers collection.
The cream notched banner strip was folded and added through the handles, making the finished look polished and professional. Think about all the different goodies you could pick up at the grocery store and add handles too for a quick and easy gift!

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first project today I decided to pull out an old favorite, Strawberry Patch and pair it up with the new Bountiful Banners. The thing I love about this banner set is that it can literally be paired up with just about anything else you already have in your existing stamp collection!
I stamped the strawberry image with VersaMark onto white cardstock and then heat embossed it with White Filigree Embossing Powder. I then watercolored the image using ink refills, water and small brush. TIP: when watercoloring over a heat embossed image like this, you get a much better effect when you purposely get a bit of color outside of the lines.
I die-cut the banner from white cardstock and then inked up the coordinating image from Bountiful Banners. I inked the entire banner with Summer Sunrise and then rolled the edges of it with Orange Zest. The sentiment was added in True Black ink.
The banner was adhered with bits of foam tape, curved upward slightly in the center for dimension. I added the border in Simply Chartreuse and the "HB" medallion in Pure Poppy.
The top edge of the card cover was cut with the Pinking Shears die and accented with stamped stitching using Sew Simple Borders. Everything was adhered to a Classic Kraft card base.
For my next project I decided to pair up Bountiful Banners with another old favorite, Vintage Picnic.
I die-cut Rustic White cardstock with the Limitless Layers 3-1/2" Oval die and stamped it with the plaid basket and tulip topper. I colored everything in with Copic Markers and then impressed the oval with the Linen & Canvas impression plate.
I die-cut the banner from Rustic White cardstock as well and stamped it with the banner image using Simply Chartreuse ink. The sentiment and the accent stripes were added with black ink.
For the background, I impressed the new Cover Plate: Twist, using it in conjunction with the same sandwich I would use for an impression plate.
Everything was mounted onto a Rustic White card base.
I thought I would put a wedding card together for my last project today.
I die-cut Mat Stack 6 from Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped it with a few leaves from Mini Blooms using Spring Moss ink. I also added some flowers in Melon Berry and Aqua Mist using small bits of foam tape. Pearl accents were the perfect finishing touch. The banner was die-cut and then stamped in Fine Linen, with the sentiments added in Dark Chocolate.
I die-cut the Cover Plate: Twist from Sweet Blush cardstock and trimmed a portion of it to be used as a border. A Melon Berry card base finishes the project off.
Now that you have seen a few of my creations, here are some of the amazing things that the team has created!

Not only do we have just the thing to help you create your own darling hair accessories for the little ladies in your life, but we've got the perfect way to package them up as gifts too!
Erin Lincoln approached us during our submission process this past fall with this AMAZING idea that we could hardly wait to bring to life and make available for sale. We just know all of you are going to LOVE this product line from her! Erin designed a truly unique collection of dies that inspired a little $5 stamp set from me to coordinate along with them. This collection of images in the Boutique Accessories stamp set is designed to coordinate with the Boutique Accessory Card die collection that Erin designed, allowing you to customize the cards and make them as beautiful as the actual gift.
The Details:
Boutique Accessories stamp set will be available for purchase on February 15th.
It will retail for $5.
Boutique Accessories contains a total of 3 images. The two topper images each measure 2-5/8" x 7/8". The "Handmade just for you" sentiment measures 2-1/4" x 3/8".

Erin Lincoln also thought up these little gems!!! These amazing dies were designed to be used with felt to cover the little hair clips that are so popular for little girls right now. Create your own custom hair accessories for little ladies with these clever new dies! And don't forget to package them up with the coordinating Boutique Accessories stamp set and dies!
The Details:

A new way to package bulky cards is here! When you cut two shapes with this large die, you can adhere them together to form a sturdy envelope box that is perfect for mailing bulky A2 cards. Not only is there a little depth to it to accommodate buttons & bows, but it also has room to spare for accents and embellishments that hang over the edge.
The Details:
The Bulk Mail Envelope die will be available for purchase on February 15th.
It will retail for $20.
The Bulk Mail Envelope die measures 5-1/4" x 7-1/4" (finished envelope size is approximately 4-3/4" x 6-1/8").
Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
I wanted to start out my post today with the undeniably sweet Boutique Accessories stamp set combined with the Boutique Accessory Card die. And no accessory card can be complete without adorable barrettes to go along with it!
Here you can see how the top layer has tabs that get adhered to the back of the main card, allowing it to bow out slightly and properly display your accessories. I die-cut my main card from Classic Kraft cardstock and the top layer from Spring Moss. The Spring Moss layer was stamped with Year of Flowers Collection in Simply Chartreuse for a a subtle pattern. Another cool feature of this top layer is the pre-established slits for adding your accessory to the card. It just looks so classy and professional!
At the top of the Classic Kraft card base, I stamped one of the new topper images from Boutique Accessories stamp set in Vintage Cream ink.
In the die-cut hole at the top, I threaded through a bit of MElon Berry Twill ribbon and tied it off with a Harvest Gold button and Cream Button Twine.
To create the actual barrettes, I constructed to flowers first. The flowers were die-cut with die C from the Frilly Flowers Die Collection using Melon Berry Felt. Each barrette actually uses two of the die-cut flowers sandwiched together. I stitched the Harvest Gold button to the center of the top flower first then added the interior stitching details around it. Then I added the second flower underneath it and whipstitched them together, which covers up the messy back of the top flower after all the decorative stitching I did.
I used die A from the Lovely Layers Die Collection with Simply Chartreuse felt to create the leaves. I did the same process with these that I used for the flowers when stitching them together.
For the barrette bases, I die-cut the middle layer from Vintage Cream felt and the bottom & top layers from Classic Kraft.
I stitched the three layers togethers which was SO easy since the holes are already cut and ready to line-up because of Erin's foresight in designing the dies! It's kind of like doing the lacing cards you practiced in Kindergarden! I found it easiest to stitch the biggest half of the bottom layer in place without the barrette inserted. Then insert the barrette and add the smaller half, finishing your stitching all the way around.
These are so, SO fun to make! I know pretty much everyone I know will be getting some of these for their birthday! So inexpensive too!
Next up I have a card for you that I made incorporating the new Boutique Accessories set. I wanted to show you an example of how the set could be used without the designated coordinating dies!
I started by making a pocket from the Mega Mat Stack 3 die by cutting off the top portion. This was die-cut from CLassic Kraft cardstock, stamped with Polka Dot Basics II using Fresh Snow ink. I then added a Photo Finish Strip cut from Summer Sunrise striped paper, using pinking shears to trim the ends. I die-cut a Beautiful Butterflies shape from white cardstock and accented it with stamped images from Cutting Garden and Mini Blooms. This was adhered in place just at the center.
A Simply Chartreuse button finishes the center, stitched with embroidery floss. I also die-cut a few leaves using the new Mini Blooms dies. These were cut fromSpring Moss cardstock and stamped with the coordinating images using Simply Chartreuse ink.
The top edge of the pocket was accented with the Medium Scallop Border die and Raspberry Fizz cardstock. I cut a block of Aqua Mist cardstock to fit in the pocket and added the topper image from Boutique Accessories in Hawaiian Shores to finish it off.
The card is designed to slide in and out of the pocket freely.
Because my card is a bit bulky because of all the layers, the pocket and most of all that button, I figured it would be a good time to pull-out the new Bulk Mail Envelope die.
Here is a little video that explains all of the details incorporated into this new die as well as some tips & tricks for easy assembly!
The envelope is constructed from Classic Kraft cardstock. You can see here that I accented the envelope with the same Summer Sunrise striped paper as well as a coordinating shipping label. The "Just a little something" topper from Boutique Accessories is practically made for this purpose and looks so sweet!
While I had all my supplies out, I die-cut another butterfly from one of our white label sheets and stamped it to coordinate as well. This makes the perfect envelope seal.
As you can see, the completed Bulk Mail Envelope has a roomy interior which can accommodate, button, bows, layers and nearly anything else you can dream up! It even has a bit of room to the side of a standard A2 card for a little bit of your design elements to hang off and still be protected. Like I said in the video, if you are going to take this much time to make a special card for somebody, you should definitely take a few extra moments to package it appropriately so it arrives at its final destination in the perfect condition you sent it in!

These dies create baskets in two different sizes. The assembled small basket (without handle) measures 1-7/8" tall, 2-1/4" wide and 1-1/2" deep. The assembled large basket (without handle) measures 1-7/8" tall, 4-1/2" wide and 3" deep.
While we are on the subject of the new Favor It Box 9 Die Collection, I have a video I put together to show you how incredibly easy it is to assemble! You won't believe how adorable the assembled baskets are! You will want to make them for every occasion!
In brief, you use one of the long tabbed side strips with the small bottom for the smallest basket. Or you can cut two tabbed strips and attach them end to end to be used with the large bottom. And another bonus? These dies were specifically designed to conserve cardstock. You can cut all the pieces necessary for one small basket from half a sheet of cardstock! And the large basket only needs a single sheet! Here are some close-up shots of the projects I showcased in the video...
As you can see here, the finished product with these new dies is just so polished & professional. The little "shaker-style" tabbed detail is definitely one of my favorite features! I die-cut the pieces for this basket from Classic Kraft cardstock.
I used larger 1/4" brads to hold my tabs together. You could also use buttons, mini brads, stitches and more to hold these beauties together.
The tag is die-cut with Fillable Frames #9 from white cardstock. I used one of the pre-arranged floral bouquets from Mini Blooms, doing selective inking with the points of our ink pads using Lavender Moon, Winter Wisteria and Simply Chartreuse. The sentiment, also from Mini Blooms, was added using True Black ink.
As you can see, the basket is a fairly good size, measuring 1-7/8" tall, 4-1/2" wide and 3" deep without the handle. It could definitely hold a substantial amount of goodies and/or treats!
For the small basket, I die-cut the pieces from Aqua Mist cardstock and assembled it with mini brads to help keep with the scale of the project.
You can see here just how cute the smaller version is! The handle become tall and narrow when used for this scale of bottom, just like a real Easter basket.
I die-cut the tag using Fillable Frames #9 from Spring Rain cardstock. It is stamped with Mini Blooms using Fresh Snow ink. I die-cut the bunny from white cardstock and stamped it with the coordinating image from Polka Dot Parade #1 using Winter Wisteria ink. A strip of Aqua Mist cardstock was added to the bottom of the tag to add the sentiment stamped in Spring Rain.
Note that the bunny's adorable little tail is easy to die-cut and add with a bit of foam tape! The tag was tied onto the basket with Winter Wisteria Bitty Dot Ribbon.
Next, how about a few cards using Mini Blooms? For this project I also wanted to add in Background Basics: Wrought Iron and the new Fanciful Finials. I started by stamping the "fence" in Charcoal Palette ink. It was really quite easy to line up the finials and stamp them onto the top of the background strip since the finials are on a single stamp in sets of three.
I added various Mini Blooms elements along the fence using Berry Sorbet, Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides, Summer Sunrise, Canyon Clay and Spring Moss inks. A few of the flowers I decided I wanted to "pop-up", so I die-cut the appropriate shapes, stamped them and added them over the original image using bits of foam tape.
The sentiment, also from Mini Blooms, was added using True Black ink. The tiny butterfly from Butterfly Dreams was stamped in Aqua Mist on a scrap of cardstock and cut-otu, being adhered in a hovering position over the sentiment.
A narrow strip of Aqua Mist cardstock at the base of the card is stamped with Sew Simple Borders using Ocean Tides ink helps to ground the project.
I have one last project for you today, this one a bit more bright & bold. I started with one of the large pre-assembled floral arrangements from Mini Blooms here. I stamped it in Pinefeather onto the Simply Chartreuse card front.
I then selected a few blooms that I wished to add dimension to and die cut the appropriate shapes from white cardstock. I stamped those using Royal Velvet, Raspberry Fizz and Winter Wisteria inks. I also added a few accents using Fresh Snow ink.
The sentiment was stamped in VersaMark and then heat embossed with White Filigree Embossing Powder. I just LOVE the fonts that Maile selected for this set! I felt that there needed to be a border of some sort, so I pulled out Sew simple Borders and added those in Fresh Snow ink as well.
Now that you have seen a few of my creations, here are some of the amazing things that the team has created!
I hope you have enjoyed all these amazing creations that both the team and I have shared with you today! Have you got just a touch of Spring fever after seeing today's Spring-themed projects? Perhaps it's time to do a little Spring crafting! Did a particular project or product catch your eye today?
In honor of Papertrey Ink's new stamp sets Mini Blooms & Polka Dot Parade #1, we are hosting a Spring Fling Scavenger Hunt and you are all invited!
Your challenge is to visit each of the team member's blogs and locate the main photo of their "Spring Fling Scavenger Hunt" project, which will be marked with the official Spring Fling Scavenger Hunt logo. Search each of the eleven photos (this includes my blog + the ten DT members) for a small outline of a bunny that looks like this:
DO NOT count bunnies that are part of the project or stamped (solid and in color). Only the white outlined bunny images will be included in the final count. Be forewarned that some photos may not have any bunnies hidden within them and others may feature as many as three! Use the sheet below to keep track of your progress. Once completed, calculate your final grand total and add your official entry to the comments section of this post!
Here is a checklist for you to download & print and utilize to keep track of your count results for each blog...
1.Visit each design team member's blog. Count the number of bunnies in all of the official Spring Fling blog pictures for today (11 photos total, this includes one here on my blog and one on each of the ten DT member's blogs).
2. Post your final accurate count in a comment here on this post. (Just click the small "comments" link in blue beside the date in the footer of this post. If you are reading this via email subscription, be sure to click through directly to the blog in order to comment and qualify.)
3. You have until 7am EST, Thursday February 14th to add guess to the comments and qualify for the contest. Only one comment per person please.

Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first project I couldn't wait to create a layout using the new clock face images. There is just something about clocks that make you reflect on your life and all of the wonderful happy memories you have been blessed with. For the theme of my page I decided to compare and contrast photos of my three kiddos together through the years since Ethan was born. I really enjoyed going through my albums and finding photos to use for this visual timeline.
For the title, I started with one of the clock hands stamped in Fresh Snow, being used here like an arrow. I then used the Fresh Alphabet with True Black ink to stamp out the title. The ampersand was stamped onto New Leaf cardstock and punched out with a 5/8" circle punch, matted with a 3/4" circle punch and Hawaiian Shores cardstock.
I added three strips of patterned paper under the main focal point photo. These are created with the New Leaf Pattern Pack (stripes) and various papers from Green Boutique paper pad.
I cut 2-1/4" x 2" rectangles of New Leaf & Hawaiian Shores cardstocks and added cropped photos of the kids through the years to them. I die-cut numbers using one of the strips from the new Number Time Trio die collection. I ran New Leaf & Hawaiian Shores cardstock strips through my Xyron Sticker Maker first, leaving the wax backing in place, then I die-cut the numbers. This way they already had adhesive on the back. It was like making my own custom number stickers! I'll never run out! LOL! I added the month to each photo block from the Mini Scrapbooking Series: Journaling Circle.
The various clock faces, numbers and clock hands from Hands of Time were added in a collage of sorts using Fresh Snow ink. The detail in these images is just stunning. I can hardly wait for you to see it in real life! I added a sentiment from Hands of Time over the colleage in True Black ink.
I added a small block of journaling above the stamped sentiment using a journaling pen from American Crafts.
I had so much fun with my watercolored card yesterday, I decided to use the technique again on this thank you card.
I stamped the largest clock face in Berry Sorbet and followed up with a wet paintbrush and a few drops of ink refill to get a watercolored effect. Once dry, I added the numbers from Number Time Trio in Soft Stone. I also added some distressed circle patterns (from Grunge Me) to the upper right corner in Berry Sorbet ink.
I repeated the same process with the smaller clock face, this time using Orange Zest ink. I added the same circle pattern here using both Orange Zest & Summer Sunrise inks.
The Number Time Trio dies are wired into short rows, allowing you to leave them together if you wish and use them for impressing, as shown here. I just positioned the die on my cardstock and ran it through my machine with the same sandwich I would use for an impression plate.
The sentiment, from Hands of Time, was added with Charcoal Palette ink.
I die-cut the clock hands from Soft Stone cardstock. They were adhered onto the large clock face and finished with a small pearl in the center. Everything was adhered onto a Summer Sunrise card base.
For my last project I wanted to try out the new Clock Face die and experiment with it a bit. And this is my result.
I heat embossed the large clock face image onto Winter Wisteria cardstock using Filigree White Embossing Powder. The numbers were added with Charcoal Palette ink. I then die-cut the Clock Face from Spring Rain cardstock, popping out the center and adhering the outside piece directly on top of my embossing. The hands were die-cut from Spring Rain Pattern Back (Bitty Dot).
With the center portion of the clock face that I popped out. I created a separate "cog" like accent next to the sentiment block. The sentiment was stamped in Spring Rain, Winter Wisteria and Charcoal Palette.
