A mini set designed to complement the new Counting My Blessings die collection. These partial sentiments will help turn the single die-cut words into sentiments appropriate for cards, layouts, tags and more.
Several of the sentiment options will allow you to "fill-in the blank", perfect for providing a journaling starter for a scrapbook layout or allowing you to personalize a card even further.

The sunflower image from the previously released Autumn Abundance has been a long-time favorite with all of our customers and over the years there have been numerous requests to make that image available in a larger scale. We are happy to make this wish come true with this new release, which includes a "grounding" oval as well as a few super-sized sentiments. At over double the original size, there will be all kinds of new design opportunities for this image.

Melissa Bickford has done it again with a wonderful addition to her Heart-2-Heart series. Each set features a clean and simple design and a fun font combination that you will love mixing and matching. Now that I've made all of the formal introductions, let's get onto the projects!
For my first projects I was excited about digging out my Copics to use with the new larger Sunflower Bouquet . There is SO much detail in this image and it is difficult to capture the depth and dimension when coloring the smaller version.
I die-cut the bouquet shape and stamped it with the coordinating image with Black Noir Palette ink. I then colored the image with Copic markers (list of colors used provided in supply list at bottom of post). I stamped the new grounding oval in VersaMark directly onto the Kraft card base to help anchor the bouquet to the card.
The sentiment, also from Sunflower Bouquet, was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with Gold Filigree Embossing Powder onto a strip of Scarlet Jewel cardstock. I also added a line of metallic gold at the top and bottom using a gold paint pen.
For a finishing touch I swiped a bit of Fresh Snow ink around the edges of the card.
My next project pairs up the new Counting My Blessings stamp set & dies with Heart-2-Heart #7. I die-cut "blessed" from Melon Berry cardstock and stamped it with one of the small blocks from Background Basics: Herringbone in Berry Sorbet ink.
I die-cut the various Heart-2-Heart #7 shapes from Vintage Cream cardstock and stamped them with the coordinating images from the set. I used Summer Sunrise, Simply Chartreuse, Orange Zest & Berry Sorbet. I love how the leaves are die-cut in duos like this. It makes it SO easy to design with them.
All of this was adhered to a Summer Sunrise card base with a Vintage Cream card front.
I decided I wanted to also watercolor the new Sunflower Bouquet.
I used ink refills to to the watercoloring (Enchanted Evening, Ripe Avocado, Summer Sunrise, Orange Zest, Dark Chocolate, Smokey Shadow). After it was dry I ruffled the edges of the paper a bit with my fingernail.
It was adhered to a Blueberry Sky card base. I followed up by stamping the Thank You sentiment from Think Big Favorites #19 in True Black and then adding a frame around the sunflowers using a silver paint pen.
My next project revisits the previously released Autumn Abundance, especially now that we are introducing dies for it. I created my background by stamping with Turning a New Leaf onto Canyon Clay cardstock with bleach. After that was dry, I then followed up and used a small stitched leaf from Stitches & Swirls to add Scarlet Jewel to some of the larger bleached leaves.
I die-cut the Autumn Abundance shape and stamped it with the coordinating image. I colored it in using Copic markers, adding a bit of shimmer to the acorns using a Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pen. I added the tag image from Tag-its #7 behind the bouquet, stamped in Scarlet Jewel.
For the sentiment I used the new Thanks All Ways set (more about this later in the week) with Scarlet Jewel & True Black inks on a strip of Scarlet Jewel cardstock. I added small dots of gold to the centers of each letter to help add visual interest.
Everything was adhered to a Scarlet Jewel card base.
For my last project today, I decided to pair up the new Counting My Blessings stamp set & dies with the previously released The Sweet Life set. I stamped the rose layers in the background using Lavender Moon, Winter Wisteria Plum Pudding. The leaves were done in Simply Chartreuse & Ripe Avocado. I added small black dots to the center of each flower to help set off the darkness of the sentiment.
I die-cut "grateful" from Smokey Shadow cardstock and adhered it with foam tape. The secondary portion of the sentiment was stamped directly onto the card using True Black ink.
I added ticket style corners to the card front using a 5/8" circle punch. This was adhered to a Winter Wisteria card base.
