051107_trail_stamp So one of the most exciting things about this set is the "trail" stamp I designed!  See, there it is, the stamp we have all been waiting years for!  And the best part is that it coordinates well with Butterfly Kisses too!

051107_pencil I decided to take the trail a step further and create the ability to customize it.  So the new set includes a little "two dot" stamp.  The dots are the same size and spacing as those int he existing trail image.  You simply draw a custom path with pencil.  The path could be completely from scratch or be an extension of the stamped trail image, as shown here.

051107_added_dots Then stamp the dots along the path.  It is surprising how much easier this is to do with two dots at a time rather than just one.  (I didn't incorporate more than two dots on this particular stamp so that the transition to curves is easier to achieve.)

051107_card After you have completed your "extension" just erase the lines!  I took it a step further and after I had matted my focal point,I extended the path off onto the red card base.

Wow! I'm counting down until the 15th! Love your card!

Really cute! Love the trail going off the card. Hmmmm...looks like this might be a different, smaller ladybug than yesterdays?

Pure GENIUS, my friend! Counting the days till I can order ... :)

I love ladybugs!! Love the fact that you have two different sizes of them. Great card!!

That is the most wonderful idea for a stamp that I have ever seen!!!

Wonder why all those other stamp companies didn't think of it?

Cause they're just not as good as you!!!

Nik,You have always had the most unique ideas & have always been SO darn clever. I've made so many trail marks by hand and it always shows that they are by hand. What a GREAT idea!

This is fabulous! I love the easy ability to extend or create your own path!

You are brilliant! Can't wait to get mine!

Linda

Too cute, looking forward to seeing the new set.

Once again, pure genius. I can't wait to place that order!

What a fun card and creative stamp!

What did you use for the words "with thanks" - I love the "with" part and didn't see it in a previous set. Is it in this one or from someone else? I just love this card!
